Little bit vague there, but detailed terminology is needed for the doctor so they can adequately describe what is wrong, but basic terminology is needed for the patient so they can understand the problem.

Generally every doctor signs on to which insurance plans they will accept patients from and will file the paperwork on your behalf, accept the payments that insurance company has negotiated. If you have an insurance that they don’t accept you have to pay the bill in full and then submit that to your insurance carrier for reimbursement.

I am a 17 year old senior in St. Louis, Mo. I plan to move out of my parents house promptly after the school year is over. My boyfriend and I have been doing a lot of research on apartments and creating a budget. My biggest concern though, is medical insurance.. I’m not sure how much it is going to cost us to be able to have it..
I would really appreciate an average monthly fee, (or at least an idea)
Thank you!

Personally I rather have Good care that I have to pay, than poor care that is free. Think FREE CLINIC

As well, what does a doctor in Private Practice earn?
Approximately.

Someone I know was just layed off on a temporary layoff ( 3-4) weeks and I was wondering how that affects your medical, dental, Life insurance? Any help please?

When starting new employment, or often every year when companies renew their health care plans they have employees fill out “medical information” forms. I am very oposed to this and don’t like to disclose personal information like that to my employer. This should be private between me and my doctor. It is not right that medical conditions are used to base health care premiums on, it’s like inviting discrimination against people with health issues. What happens if I don’t disclose soemthing on one of these forms, do you complete them honestly?

I am a private practice physician in America…

Hope that helps!

i would like to transport patients to and fro’ medical appts and get paid thru medical insurance companies.

We also have United HealthCare…and here in Indiana….if they dont have a provider in your area..then they have to find one and you wont be charged any extra…..here…if I use a Dentist that is out of our Network..then we pay more….but if there isn’t one available…then call them and they should find you one and it still be the same cost to you. Good Luck !!!!!
