Really, I know Medicare and Medicaid probably help, but are they enough?

I am 4 weeks pregnant I am marrying my finace on June 30th. He works for Jewel-Osco and has pretty good health insurance. Is the insurance company going to pay all the expenses during my pregnancy after we get married or not?

I am looking for a health insurance policy, am healthy, 36 years old, non-drinker, non-smoker, non-drug user, no medical conditions, no family history of illness.
I don’t want to have to go though the whole rigor-ma-roll of talking to insurance agents yet, until I know roughly what sort of monthly premiums to expect. All I am trying to find out here are what prices YOU self employed people here are having to pay for your medical insurance. (Please don’t refer me to a website or an agent for a quote.)

For example, how much would a Doctor like House, (from “House” on Fox) make?
What about a Doctor with a private practice compared to a Doctor who works in a hospital?

I’ve lost my medical insurance card and I don’t know my ID number but I have an appointment tommorrow morning. Is there any way to obtain the nessisary information in order to still obtain benefits? Would customer service be able to retrieve it with my social sercurity number?

I have to write a 1-2 page paper on why med terms are important and the pro and cons of them in a doctor/patient communication…
