I would like to get back on meds and get better but it’s nearly impossible considering my situation. Currently I am a college student with a very low income who doesn’t have medical insurance. I just recently switched jobs so I wouldn’t be able to get medical insurance through my company. Is there any other way for me to be able to get back on medication? Any ideas that are appropriate are appreciated.

Contact your local mental health association for local referrals: http://www.nmha.org/.
You could go to your local public mental health center or your college’s student health center. Ask them to give you samples of the meds to get you started. Then ask them to fill out the forms through the drug companies for people who don’t have enough money to buy the pills (all of the drug companies have these programs..the public mental health centers have the forms…or you could go to the company’s websites and download the forms). Then you can get your meds for free. Another alternative is to ask your provider to put you on the medicines from the Walmart/Walgreens $4/month list. Many good psychotropic medications are on this list and it would only cost you $4/month for your medicines. Good luck with everything.
buy your meds off the internet – much cheaper. Many many people do it, it isn’t nearly as dodgy as some make out. I was on an antidepressant for years which I now buy from the internet coz it’s cheaper, and it’s exactly the same as the one I was taking before.
Watch the movie(the book is hard to follow) The Secret. It works!!! And its only $14 at Walmart. It is also on pay per view
