I would say around $250 a month. But it could also be a lot more or a lot less depending on whether you have group health insurance through your employer or individual insurance.
Parents that cant afford insurance for their children can qualify for programs like CHIPS, where it is considerably less for families to provide their newborn child with coverage.
Hope this gives you a good idea on what the average is for a newborn.
Way too many variables to consider, to determine the cost of insurance when adding a Newborn to your policy. Some companies pay for employees and dependents insurance. Some will only absorb some of the cost and some don’t offer any discounts and the employee has to pay the whole premium. Then there is the type of policy to factor in. Some policies are cheaper, while other are not. Some have deductables, some don’t.
Depends on factors such as: where you live, type of plan, etc, etc.
The only way to know for sure is to get some quotes. One of the easiest ways to get quotes is use a reliable on line quoting service.
Some of the free services that are more popular are:http://www.jdoqocy.com/click-2977717-104…http://www.anrdoezrs.net/click-3014621-1…http://www.kqzyfj.com/click-2952034-1039…http://www.usinsuranceonline.com/usio/in…http://www.kqzyfj.com/click-2952034-1051…http://www.anrdoezrs.net/click-2952034-1…http://click.linksynergy.com/fs-bin/clic…
If you take the time to request quotes from all of these free services you will end up receiving the best six quotes from hundreds of companies.
Good Luck!
It depends on the size of you company and what type of insurance coverage you have. There are a lot more factors. You need to be more specific.
